UBL-CR-412

warningEN 16931syntax binding ruleUBL

A UBL invoice should not include the PaymentMeans PaymentDueDate

Why it fails

'PaymentMeans PaymentDueDate' is present where this profile does not allow it. It is not forbidden outright — the rule's test permits it in one specific case — so what is wrong is where it appears, not that it appears.

How to fix it

Do not strip 'PaymentMeans PaymentDueDate' from the whole document. Read the expression below: it names the one case in which this element is allowed, and only the occurrences outside that case need removing. Reported as a warning.

What the validator checks

…or paste the XML instead

Nothing is stored, and the whole invoice is checked, not just this rule. A PDF only works if it is Factur-X / ZUGFeRD — a PDF with the invoice XML inside it.
